We do this using Aquascape equipment, which works on the premise of natural biological filtration, no harsh or dangerous chemicals. No chemicals at all actually. The Aquascape filtration uses natural bacteria (instead of chemicals) and is set up to host a living breathing ecosystem, just like any lake or river in the wild. It’s just that, in the case of your pond, it duplicates natures system and is contained to that micro body of water in your backyard.
